Just to let you know, ( I'm sure some of you already do..) about the sealed bid auction that is happening in Colloco in Leek, Staffordshire..
 
I have made a pair of origami cranes

that were folded from Rob Ryan- designed paper (printed by wild and wolf)... they were then sent to Rob's studio in London (which I visited over Easter, as part of my MA Textiles research) and he kept one in his studio and signed the other and sent it back to auction off for 'The Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund' which I have currently raised £792.90 by selling my '1000 Origami Cranes' ( made for a regeneration project in Derby summer 2010)
 
Bids for the signed crane are accepted until 31st May 2011, and can be made via the Colloco shop, www.colloco.co.uk,  or  01538 382615 (during shop hours).
